What species that's easiest to breed and grow bigger than an inch long? I don't want red rosy minnows and goldfish. Im gettin redfin pickerel in future soon and I also have younger yellow bullhead catfish.
I know feeder guppies and ghost shrimp existed but what's other less common feeder fishes and shrimp? Feeder guppies don't grow bigger and they were too small for the pickerel as this species can reached a foot long in aquarium so I need more bigger feeders than guppies. Plus I like to know how to breed any feeders expect goldfish/red rosies. I do have a tub and a manmade pond outside so I can just let them do their thing. No red rosies please!

Fancy guppies. Mollies. Sowrdtail's. Platies. Convict's.

Hmm I think I can throw the fancy guppies in feeder guppies to produce more bigger feeder guppies. So any livebearers works? Even gambusia, limias, heterandria formosa and orangetailed goodieds? Are red cherry shrimp and grammarus considered feeder shrimp?

Personally, any fish that can be fed to another fish is a "feeder" fish. Some livebearer's are harder to breed than other's. Convict's are cichlids and breed like crazy.

Not my livebearers, they are madly breeding and always overpopulated the tanks. Even orangetailed goodieds! I tried to give some fry away and even post it on aquabid and no one want buy orangetailed goodieds so I don't have any choice but keep them as feeders (I will let some live).

I swored I read "feeder betta" in other post. I had no idea that the betta are used as feeder.
