I bought some Daphnia on Saturday with the intention of breeding it to feed to the fish. It was in a 5 gallon tank and was left on the window sill.
This morning the tank seems empty. I trust it's all dead!
How do I breed it successfully?!

i'm not exactly sure, but i know you need green water to keep them in. I also read somehwere someone was succesful feeding them yeast.

But on some Barry White and let them be! :p

They need to be kept cool, they probably died from over heating, in the summer (UK) I put a tank outside and leave them to it, between them and the mosquito larvae that hatch in there the smaller fish often get good meal out of them - though in the winter they die out and have to start again in the spring.
