Well today i went out and got 3 females for my community tank, they are amazing :good:

I have a male crowntail aswell, in a different tank, and i would love to breed him because hes got some nice finnage, but working out space for the babies will be hard for me (limited money and space etc etc)

Few things id like to know is whats the average betta brood? meaning how many babies would i have to prepare for? How do i set up my male and female for mating? short of making one myself is there a divider system available to buy with enough compartments to house the males? i wouldnt have a problem with making one but buying one would be easier

Thanks for any answers

hi, you should prepare for 500 fry.
Their are loads of breeding journals on this forum, so search through them. :)

Their is a barrak system for keeping bettas. These are usually containers of about 1L each and they run of piping to replace water etc. They are well known as 'Betta Barraks'

:good:

500 :look:

May have to wait till i have my own place to do this
