a have a pair of angel fish and every time the one lays eggs they both start eating them. how can i get them to stop?

You don't want them to stop eating them unless you have someplace to sell 300+ small angels. If you find some places to sell them, you need at the very least 100 gallons of tank space for the spawn, closer to 200 for a large spawn.

Some angels take practice as far as parent raising is concerned, some never get to that point. Many breeders pull the spawns, & hatch them in a separate tank.

BTW, angelfish are New World (ie: South American in this case) cichlids.
