that is NOT a local pet store (it's betta heaven )i bought it and it used to be in a 5gal tank and they had the rest in 1gal bowls it's heaven lol

I'm definitely interested in a halfmoon, I would have to see pictures first

i suggest you definitely study about the genetics. hm x hm doesn't always make halfmoons. crowntail is partially dominant. veiltail is dominant over all other fin types. not sure about plakats. in order for the fry to grow normally, you'll need to do at least 50% water changes on a 5 gallon breeding tank and a lot of live food and containers (my fry consumed over 20 g of brine shrimp eggs for 1 spawn of ~ 60) which all takes a lot of time. hoep you're in for one heck of a ride
