Hi i wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction please? Im looking to biy a breeding pair of tropical fish preferably red koi angels but im open to options. Thankyou.

First question and most important question.... what size tank do you have?

What is your hardness?

Why do you want to breed?

I agree that for angels, you're going to want to start with a group.

You have many options, but with so little info it's very hard to recommend anything.

If you want a breeding pair of angels, then you need to get a group of at least five or more and let them naturally pair off.

I dont want to buy loads just want to buy existing breading pair

A 2 ft tank isn't big enough for 2 angels. A 4 foot tank really is minimum even for just 2.

A 2 ft tank is roughly what? 20 gallons? maybe a bit more? Angels are quite big fish.

You can sometimes buy a breeding pair, but you should make sure you have the proper setup before moving forward with this idea.

What are you going to do if you get babies?

Ok thankyou for the advice. What tropical fish would you reccomend to breed in a 2ft tank. If i get babies ive got a guy who buys them

Apistogramma are cool, easy to breed, and sell very well at least in my area.

You can do a full harem in that tank (although I don't believe dimensions have been mentioned) meaning one male and multiple females.

Only a pair would absolutely work, but the tank would be empty looking.
