hi all i think i have some pregnant mollies not sure but my LFS dont have the breedig things to put the fry in just wondered if ne one knew a website that i could buy them off? im in the uk
It's odd that your LFS hasn't got nets, have you asked them? I bought one off eBay, but shipping to the UK (if offered) would probably be pretty steep. It's always worth a try, though.
any other stores you can go to? i don't remember how or what was done exactly, but i remember reading about some people making their own breeding nets. are you planning on putting the moms in there? i'd let them drop outside the net because when i put my platy in the net she freaked out and ended up having all stillborns. i think its a better idea to wait until they are born and then just catch them.
well i got 2 male and 2 female platties and i think they could be pregnant but not sure, never breed fish before didnt really plan this one but hopefully they are cos i need a few more fish lol.
dont really know how im going to do it how many fry do they have if they have lots i ll leave her outside and try to catch a few fry that are left.
You could also just leave the fry in the tank. That way you wouldn't be overloaded with fish. Usually a few survive and they also grow faster in a large tank instead of a net/breeder
