hi i have my first mickey mouse due any day now i have not had fry from them before i was wondering about their markings mom and dad are same colour with exact markings how old will the fry have 2 be before i see the markings of the mickey mouse? this might be silly but im excited,i mainly breed mollys ,

Pretty much straight away ive noticed my plattys get their colours within 5-7 days some are noticeable the day they are born

hi thanks for reply,my normal orange platys get colour within few days im just excited to see the outcome of the mickeymouse im daft aint i,

In my experince, to really see thier color's, around 2 week's, but 6 day's after, you can see marking's. The babies arent probably your male's, so they might look different than the parent's do, becasue female can hold sperm for 6 month's!

ye im aware of the sperm thing thank god us females aint the same lol

o well lets just wait and see what fry turn out like i just want the marking lol
