Hello everyone,

This is my first post here! :hyper:

I'm going to be aquascaping a new 320L (90 gallon)tank soon and I have some small concerns about using Brazilian Pennywort (Hydrocotyle leucocephala). It is my first time decorating a tank this size and I want to get it right...

I know this plant grows very fast; I'm planing to use Flourish Excel as the general feed which (by what I have heard) should make this plant grow even faster. Lighting is 3x 39W T5 lamps and the substrate will be plain white sand. My questions are:

1) -What would be the best spot to place the Pennywort in this rectangular tank?
2) -I expect quite a bit of prunning maybe needed with these so, any tips on how to do it so it is best for the plant?

If anyone has experience with these plants any tips are very appreciated.

Thank you.

I'm afraid hyrdocotyle isn't even Brazilian pennywort, of I were you I would place mine in the backrounds of the tank. And for pruning I would just cut as much of as you would like to then replant it in another part of the tank

Oh yeah and Welcome to the forums

Yes that is what I thought, it may become a bit hard to control in the foreground.
I have added a couple of pictures of this plant.
