Hi, I have been noticing over the last couple of days some hectic shifting of substrate in my Brasiliensis tank and I now have found out why, they have spawned. I just happened to look in the tank and there were the eggs with 'mum' looking after them. I am sure it happened late this afternoon so can anyone tell me how long I will have to wait for the fry? I estimate around 400 eggs. Here are 3 photos that you might want to see.

I hope that I get a good few fry from these. I know they are pretty easy to breed but if anyone has any advice it will be appreciated.

I have been keeping a close eye on the eggs of my Geo's so you can imagine my sadness when I looked and found many of the eggs missing. I thought, here we go, they have been eaten and I will end up with no fry at all. But upon closer inspection I saw the female gently taking the eggs off the rock in her mouth and putting them in a cavity she had built sort of under the rock. All the eggs seem to have been placed there and she is closely watching and fanning them. She obviously knew what she was doing and had this cavity ready to put the eggs into, at this moment the eggs are just quivering and vibrating, it looks quite unusual to see a mass of them doing this. Once the eggs start vibrating, is it normal behavior to move them to another area?

Sorry that the female is a bit out of focus in the second photo, I had my DOF too short and I was focusing on the male fish.
