It depends on the temperature of your water as SG (Specific Gravity) is variable by temperature.

So for me for example, I keep my T Biocellatus/BBG tank at 26° so im adding 100grams of instant ocean marine salt per 11 litres of water, this gives me 1.006 approximately.

well for me its about 1kg of salt for 30g of water to get around a 1.005

That very much depends on Temp though, you can add the same salt at differing temps and get different results

Not to mention that once opened salt starts absorbing moisture from the air leading to less slat being contained in a unit weight.

Best answer is to use a hydrometer or refractometer and slowly add salt to the water until you have an idea of how much is needed. After a few times you will get an idea of how much you need and put most of that in, take a check and ammend the water as needed (either more water or more salt).

Agreed! This is the ONLY way to be sure of a constant salinity. However, I know that in BW enviroments the SAL in water will fluctuate with the ocean tide. So I am never to picky about the salinity, as long as its +/- .002. Not a rule, just preference.

This is an important point. Few brackish areas have constant conditions, and pretty much all brackish fish are tolerant to changes in the salinity of their water. Getting the salinity spot on is less important than in an Acropora farm SPS reef tank.
