hi there, recenlty moved onto Brackish water with 3 3inch archer fish in my Rio 180, and i was wondering if anyone could give me the name of a good cleaner fish that can cope with bracksih water? when i say cleaner fish, i mean like a pleco (but i think they are only frechwater, though im sure ive herd of a saltwater...) or shrimp, also would full marine shrimp live in brackish, im assuming not, but i jsut want to check. Any kind of shrimp really, to keep ontop of the waste, with the filter obviusly.
thanks very much for your time.

We have a Brackish Forum so you may want to post there.

When you say "cleaner fish" do you want the fish to eat algae or just pick over the leftover foods?

The reccomendations depends on your SG. Posting it would help a lot.

My fiddler crabs eat left over food but need to be able to get out of the water from time to time. Unless you have your archers in a paludarium they wont really work out. In order to help you out knowing your SG will be essential. Also what species of archerfish do you have? The 3 commonly sold species each require their own specific salinity range. Make sure that you ID them correctly.
