Brackish Tank Newbie, Hi !

Just wanted to say hello.. I've joined here because you have a brackish forum, and I am attempting to set up such a tank, though not so much for fish keeping as for breeding shrimps that need brackish conditions to hatch their eggs and nurture their larvae for the first stages of life. I know next to nothing about salt water, but have a fair experience with FW and used to keep livebearers back in my high school and college days, along with turtles. Got back into tanks about six months ago, and some pregnant ghost shrimp in my 'then to be only planted' tank touched off the desire to try breeding them. Success followed and now I want to try more challenging species..Amano, Whisker, maybe Bamboo, if they ever get berried. So I hope I can learn from those here and get the tank set up correctly to begin with.
