We just got these guys in where I work and I absolutely HAD to have them! I upgraded the brackish from 5g to 10g just for them. I'm going to redo the setup real nice once I finish rearranging some other tanks, but for now it's just bare-bottom with a lot of petrified wood and Java fern. I may end up selling the female on Aquabid.com if they don't get along well though, the male is kinda a jerk. They are already eating and doing well :D
Oh, and might I add, I got these beauties for only $8.50 a piece! Huzzah for 50% employee discounts!
Here's the male:

Bumblebee goby, just so the tank doesn't look as empty

And the waspfish, who lived in the old 5g along with a small zebra hermit crab and some tubeworms, who will be transfered to the new setup once it's finished completely.

They have very cute faces, look like they're full of charecter. Hopefully Mr will settle down and leave Mrs alone.
Pic #3 "Huh? is the best

I'm almost green with envy. I've always heard they're a bit territorial though, so I'd be careful keeping them in a pair. Also, I've heard from a friend of mine who has kept them, that they can be very trusting of humans, to the point where one bit him and drew blood.

Enjoy!

Yeah, territorial is an understatement . I watched their behaviour in the store before taking them home, and the male is quite a little butthead. For now they are doing fine and have established separate territories, but I'm prepared to take one back to work or sell on Aquabid if needed. The male is completely unafraid of my hand too, like you say. I don't think he's showing aggression though, he's just very interested in me and will hover and stare at me. One of my coworkers had a midas blenny bite his finger, so I know these guys can definitely break the skin!

Oh my.. they are SUPER cute! I just love that 3rd pic.. looks like it's smiling for the camera hehe.

Ive heared about these, but never seen them apart from one poor pictue in a PFK. They really are stunning though, makes me want to set up a brakish tank just for them.

But that waspfish takes my breath away, how old is it?

I would suggest adding a few more if you can get them, i bought 3 of these a few years ago (at a hefty price tag at the time) and within a couple of months the dominant fish had killed the other two, i would say they need to be treated in the same way as Cichlids, either a lone specimin or a large group to spread aggression.

Lovely collection of mini brackish beasties by the way.
