Bought some fish today

Well both my tanks are nearly complete, just waiting on 16 cardianl tetras that should be in next week.

My big Angel is being the perfect Gent in his new tank (tank 2) with my bettas, cories, tetras and quins. Seems he really only hates other angels.

Now he is out of the way i got 6 new baby Angels for tank 1, they are so cute hopefully i will get a breading pair out of them.

thanks to everyone who gave me advice on here, you've been such a help (David, rykitten, CFC etc)

Also came home with a male bristlenose for my females and 4 new cories.

WOW DUDE! u are cool just by the fact that u keep sterbai cories!

and both you tanks looks alike.... but they are pretty nice anyways if you want to ask oppinion on how to improve, i'll say to add tall plants to cover the background, that'll look real good imo!

btw how many gallons?

Yeah the plants have already grown a few inches, will get some more at some point, want these plant to grow a bit first (they were tiny when i got them)

not sure how many gallons exactly (they are 120litres each) but i think they are fully stocked

i keep very careful check on water quality etc, as these are my babies. only had one old platty die and the Angel that was killed by my male (that male in the pics is now gonna be a permenant batchelor)

The male doesnt attack the females or the angels?

Males have been kwon to fight angels for there ventrals and tails.

Also watchout maybe one day that male might want to breed with one of ur females. Then trust me all hell will brake loose...

It depends what kind of personality your Betta has, they vary so much from peacful and kind to very evil!

If the tank is big enough and it isnt overstocked there would be no need for the male betta to attack the females or the angels, as long as there is enough space for him to mark out his own terratory.

Nope the male betta does not go for the angel or female bettas, i guess i'm very lucky as they all get on great.

as for the male betta attacking the Angel.....i think not! the Angel would kill it in seconds. The reason for him not being in the tank with the other Angels is he is VERY VERY aggressive, infact a very nasty peice of work. Strange thing is he doesnt attack any small fish including tetras.

only fish i have that chases anything is my Red finned black shark, he chases the barbs and the barbs chase eachother, it's very funny to watch. The shark never does any damage though, just a little chase every now and then

sorry what is FOTM? i've not heard that expression?
