Bought Sand For My Tank.....but Changed My Mind Now

going to use a fine grade of dorset gravel now. the 3mm stuff it looks like crushed eggshells an is really nice looking....much better than the standard pea sized stuff

but will be easier to keep clean than argos play sand!! im pretty sure lol

I have argos sand in all my tanks, it stays very clean and looks great...

Depending on the fish i guess, its a pain in the bk side if there is big pieces of crap all over the sand

well mine are all large cichlids!!

they get pretty messy!!

I would not use sand with them, way to messy.

i reckon you have made an excellent choice, the sand would be stinking ( literally) in no time with sushi in there trust me
