Hi, i just bought a auqapod 24 gallon, 64 watt tank, I want to make this a planted tank.

I comes with 1-32W square pin Dual Daylight 10000°K/6700°K Daylight bulb, 1-32W square pin Dual Actinic 460nm/420nm Actinic bulb, 2 blue LED lights.

I also bought another Duel Daylight 10000/6700k daylight bulb and was going to replace the actinic bulb with it.

I also bought 2 bags of Eco Complete.

2 questions?

1.) I know its a cube amost, but, can I put this in it even if this plant package from drsfostersmith.com is for a 30 gal Aquarium?

Plant Pack - Mega: Micro Sword or Dwarf Hairgrass, Anubias Nana or Anubias Barteri Round Leaf, ChainSword - Narrow Leaf, Banana Plant, Java Fern, Red Cryptocorne or Green Cryptocorne, Ludwigia - Broad, Rotala Indica, Ozelot Sword, Corkscrew Vallisneria, Wisteria - Potted, Amazon Sword Plant (Regular Potted), Myrio - Green and Moneywort

or is that to much?

2.) also, if it could hold it, would I need a co2 or would there be enough light for it? or does that not even matter?

Or what would be the best way to plant this?

I know these tanks are mainly used for reef set ups, but i saw it and had to buy it, lol

I think my new betta will love it once it cycled:)

hopefully it will be here by friday.

Good choice on replacing the actinic bulb. Should promote better growth with the two normal tubes.

I think that might be a little much and a little too diverse to start with. One piece of advice I wish I'd taken first time around was to buy lots of fast growing stem plants to start with. This is to combat algae growth. I would stuff in a fair amount of Hygrophilla Polysperma, Rotala Rotundifolia or Mexican Oak leaf. Those kinds of plants. They are all fast growers and should suck up all the nutrients and not give algae a chance.

After a few months your tank should have matured and you should be able to (slowly) phase out the fast growers with plants you want to grow. It also gives you a chance to research some plant species while you wait :)
