Need some help brainstorming some possible bottom-mid dwellers for my fish tank that would get along with an oscar and a few balas. Give me some ideas, preferably a larger growing fish.

Good suggestion, but forgot to add that already got 2 in there. Didnt include in description because they get along with almost anything sorry. Any other suggestions please

Yes, i've considered that but i wanted something a little different. More suggestions please I want to get as many ideas as possible

how much money you got to play with lol?

you could get some sort of plec?

but i still think clown loaches as they do prefer large groups.

:good:

Thanks for the suggestions guys, but i really dont want an algae eater. JayJay i actually think ill get 2 more clowns so ill have 4. However i also wanted one like sort of stand out fish that can reign the bottom of the tank. Appreciate all the suggestions so far, keep em rolling

sorry but what sort of fish are we looking for? plec? loach? etc.

something like a pictus? humbug catfish? royal plec? eel banjo ( aspredo cotylephorus)? chaca chaca? birchir? synodontis notatus?

:good:

Im sorry i kno im being sort of difficult. For instance one of my considerations was a black shark, and i was considering a pictus. I dont know much about birchirs how are they? Fish more along these types of lines i guess. Sorry if im being too picky or difficult haha

so were looking for a shark pictus birchir fish? no probs lol.

i dunno but i would go with the birchir just cause they look good and i think they would do well in your tank.

:good:
