Bottom feeder

I have recently bought a red finned shark aka rainbow shark and i think it is a bottom dweller.
It hasn't eaten for 2 days(bought him 2 days ago).Not sure whether i have to buy sinking pellets or will normal bloodwroms and flake foods be suitable.

Bloodworms will be fine but you may need to make the flakes sink for the shark to get to them, some pellets for bottom feeders such as loaches and catfish would be a good idea too.

I have some fish that feed in the middle/bottom areas, what I do is just to pre-soak the regular floating food, it will sink when you put it in.

thats what I do too... soak it first so it sinks too the bottom.... I have a red - tail shark too... mines a bottom dweller and quite territorial.
