I have been running with a fish in cycle for 5 weeks now and ammonia is down to 0.25 with nitrates at 0.
I have noticed on the base of sand and other parts of the tank that the algea is building.....a mix of brown/green colour.
Should I get a bottom feeder to clean this up ......and if so which one.
My tank is a180 litre jewell

need ammonia levels down to 0 first, but after that i would just clean the tank more, and wait, the brown(diatom) algae are normal for new tanks, you could have some otto's to clear it up or a bristlenose, or some shrimp or maybe some snails, what are your planned fish stocks
