Hi,

My tank was setup on 5/3/06, and since then I have had the following fatalities:

Rainbow shark
2 Otto Cincliuns (sp?)
2 Kuhli loach

At all times, my Nitrite and Ammonia have been 0 and Nitrate have never gone over 40. PH is steady at 7. I've recently done KH (3) and GH (7).

I've had no other problems with anything else in the tank:

2 Angel
5 Danio
1 Sucking Loach

Out of the tap test results of:

PH 7.2
Ammonia Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10
KH 5
GH 10

Tank is 25" x 14" x 16"
Fluval 3 filter with spray bar set to minium power
Tetra Co2
Temperature has been ~27C (am lowering to 24C)
I have 4 large plants and 2 small plants

My only thought has been maybe I've not been feeding them enough sinking food......

But I need help !!!!!

Thanks

Ed

Need to be on a very good diet, plus have to keep the gravel clean by a gravel vac twice a week as they can get bacteria infections through rotting food.

sorta of the same with me for some reason any cory`s always die after about 4 days
had 6 pandas and about 6 peppered, always been baby`s` thou....

otos and panda cory's are not the best for new tanks.. I learnt that the hard way too with the panda cory's. Two made it through and have been great now the tank is a little more mature.

Otos can be difficult to keep even in a mature tank, and usually prefer a tank of about 6 months or older.

I have no idea about the Khuli loaches though..
