Bottom Dweller Suggestions?

im not sure what type of bottom dwellers i should get for my 10g. i was thinking dwarf corydoras but they seem hard to find at any LFS. are there any suggestions for such a small tank? id like a schooling fish but anything thats entertaining to watch would be fine. the only other tankmate would be a dwarf gourami. any ideas?

as i havent had fish in a while i'm not sure what to get

Dwarf corys are basically the only way to go.. where are you? We might be able to help with an LFS which stocks them.

Pygmy cory is the way to go. There are 2 other species of dwarf corydoras, but pygmy is the most common.

A full sized gourami would probably be a bit big for that tank, but a dwarf or honey gourami would be OK. Four or five bronze or albino C. aeneus should do well with it.

Got to be a place in Chicago that would have the pygmies or order them for you. You could order them online, check out aquabid. Another bottom feeder that you might be interested in would be shrimp. I find them very entertaining.

A dwarf gourami would be ok, but I personally think that the tank is too small for bronze Corys.
