Botia Kobitia With Ich

My polka dots loaches have Ich as I see some very small white little salt like dots on him.

Basically my question is, if I have to end up using the Rid-Ich+. I have a marineland bio-wheel filter on my aquarium. When I put the Rid-Ich+ in do I take out the filter cartridge in my filter or do I leave it in?
If I do have to take it out won't it kill the bacteria on the filter or is all the baceteria on the wheel itself?

You mean "Botia Kubotai" ?

Leave the sponges etc. in the filter but just remove any carbon or carbon pads (and zeolite if the filter has it - it's grey grainy stuff).

Increase the aeration and treat exactly as directed.

Yeah, that's it I switched the names around by accident /boggle.

I went and bought a new cartridge and took out all the carbon. There was no way I was going to be able to get all the carbon out of the cartridge that is in there now.
