Bolivian Rams

hello bought 3 bolivian rams yesterday and i think theres 1 male and 2 females put them in tank last night went and hid in plants which i presume is normal after a lenghty time in a bucket switched light off and droped in some food

checked on them this morning survived the night thank god but it seems the male is a bit of a bully or i think so he keeps nudging the 2 others is this normal

what can i do to make them a bit happier

assuming you have correctly sexed them all (isnt hard to do so will go with that assumption) id wait it out a week and see how things go. you normally see aggression between two males with rams if i didnt know any better id say you may have more than one male. leave it a week and if you still see aggression remove the aggressor. it may well be a fight for initial dominance at first and may subside pretty quickly

if they are 2 females would i be better off getting another male or is it fine as it is?
