Bolivian Rams

Ok, so I look in the fish index and it states that they will do well with gauaramis and larger tetras
here

They are a peaceful cichlid that do well in community tanks with fish such as; larger tetras, gourami, catfish, and danios.

but when I looked here it states bolivians will be fine with neons.

a perfect setup for beginners would be a 20gal,one pair of rams,5 neon tetras,5 glow light tetras,5 Harlequin rasboras and 5 corys.plant it and it would be your favorite tank. other good tank mates are

so my question is would my neons be ok with these guys or is it a matter of personality

mind you, the tank is heavily planted

I have a fall-out shelter in case of disaster for the neons if needed.
but moving neons is never fun

anything big enough not to be eaten would be ok

rams are not very agressive to their own kind, let alone other species of fish.

I see no problem with it. Mine keep to there own in the 50 gallon and don't bother anyone

well actually the LFS didnt have bolivians, but this is ok. further reading revealed that bolivians like more alkaline water

I have more acidic water with the CO2 going so approximately 6.2 or there abouts

so opted for the blue rams, which they did have, I have 1 male and 1 female (no spike in the front)

I must say very cool fish, and they dont even really notice the other fish

my rams are in a tank with 16 neons and shoals of other tetras and ive never seen the rams go near them.

jus moved everyone into a bigger tank and now they have more space, the rams are getting more terrotorial but they jus chase people out of there space in the tank. they dont make contact.
