Found some Bolivian Rams at my LFS. I'd wanted to try out some rams but didn't want to go with the German Blue ones as I'd heard/read that they're very delicate and don't tolerate hard water or neutral/higher ph's.
So I had a credit at my LFS for my King Tiger Plec that died and decided to buy a pair.
They've made it through the weekend and are looking rather good. Nice red/pink tones to them They're really growing on me as a cool looking fish and I'm loving the cichlid look without the cichlid agression.
They're in my 54 Corner Bow with my Yo-Yo loaches and some pearl gouramis.
I figured that was probably the best tank for them because of the filtration systems on it.
