Bolivian Rams Sexing ?

Hi iv just got some pictures of my rams i was just woundering if someone could tell me the sex of them please

First one looks like a male. Second one looks like a female.

i hope they are i wouldnt mind trying to bread them and how can you tell the difference ???

The front two-four dorsal fins on males are more long than the other ones. On females, they are the same length.

I'd say they're both males, the colour is too intense for them to be females, and the rear finage protrudes past the base of the tail.

I know the first one is a male. But I can't really see the tip of the dorsal on the second one, but from what I can tell, it is the same length as the rest of the fin.

females can be just as colourful as the males

could you post another pic of the bottom one?

Look at the anal fins, they're pointed and pass the bass of the tail, the dorsal fin alone is not a good indicator.

looks male even more so now than before, but do you think you get a couple of horizontal shots preferably not looking down on the fish (maybe looking slightly upwards?)? i should have said earlier i know...

I believe so yes, both have pointed anal fins protruding past the base of the tail, and they're both quite slim, and are not plump near the anal region, if they were rather plump in that region I would believe they're males, because that would be the womb area.
