Well i thought i had a problem before when the female was charging at everything in my tank but everything has settled down now. The male and female have paird up, They follow each other everywhere :)

What i was wondering is will they breed?
If not what could i do to help them along, like feeding or hiding places or anything?
If they do what kinda things do i need to be thinking?

ive read up them but i cant be to sure :S

thanks

Kev

Once they've paired up, there's no stopping them from breeding :p Seriously though, if you want them to breed and they aren't, check your water quality and feed them live or frozen foods more often. They will breed eventualy. What I suggest you watch is how they are with the cories. I see you have planned to get 4 more, I suggest you do that before they start breeding - the more cories there are, the less likely the breeding rams are to hurt them. Also watch the single blue ram is ok as the pair may now try to bully him. Idealy, blue rams should be in pairs. I wouldn't say to get another until you've first seen how the bolivians are when they breed though. It may be that they take over the tank and you simply need to find him another home or they may be relatively calm, in which case, you could get him a mate as well as your tank is just about big enough.

Thanks for the info :D i actully have a Dutch Blue ram (female which i got a few days after the bolivian rams) i was told i should keep them in pairs... I heard that corys are egg eaters, will thios be a problem and getting another 4 does that make the risk of eggs getting eatin more likly?

Also another thing...
How can i tell if they have deff paired up? They do follow eachother all the time and sometimes the female has a little charge at the male, not very often now tho. Is there anything i can see that would make me like 80% sure that they are together as a pair now?
