Alright now before i go on to how they're making me worried, i'd like to know if they really 'are' bolivian rams, i purchased them under the name Ruby Clown Ram, and am pretty sure they are, but i just wanted to make sure.

Second thing; one of them has gotten used to his new tank perfectly, however the other one only swims from the surface to the bottom (up and down) in a straight line continuously right up against the glass. Kind of looks like he's dancing, what's causing this?

And now, they're making me worried because the one that's acclimated seems to have all the territory and wherever the other one swims, if they're near, the one chases him away. Dwarf_dude's post said that 2 rams in a 20 is fine, (pretty sure mine are males) but i've also read that 2 male rams will fight 'till the weaker one dies. :(

Ive never heard them called ruby clowns but Ive just went googling and it states that it is another name for the bolivian rams
I bought 2 a few months back and had to seperate them within hours as one constantly harassed the other--both were males
I have also read in here that this would have continued until the weaker one was stressed to death.
Having said that they are both happy as larry now they are in different tanks
Mine didnt actually fight--one just kept chasing the other one back behind an ornament.I dont know whether they would have fought but decided not to take any chances
I am no expert--just telling you my experience
good luck
ps Id hazard a guess and say that the one swimming up and down is most likely stressed as a bolivian ram spends most of its time in the bottom half of the tank

Ya, i was thinking the same thing, i think i'll seperate them, thanks anyways :)

Ok well i'm now going to put him in my spare aquarium, and i was wondering how i could switch tanks without putting too much stress on him
