Bolivian Ram's Colouring

hiya, i have recently purchased a Bolivian, mine has no markings on the eyes or
the black spot on the body, will these markings/colour develop when settled /matured?

Hi there,

The lateral spot will come and go depending on the mood of the fish, the stripe through the eye should visible all of the time (even if it's just a hint of a stripe).

What size, how old are the fish ?? as these markings will become more predominant as the fish matures (are you sure it's a bolivian ram??).

Cheers for the reply, Aye he is definately a Bolivian Ramnot sure how old he is
but my lfs said he would grow a bit bigger ,he is about 6.5 cm

Hi there,

Strange the markings aren't showing that well as that's not quite a juvenile fish, they should hit about 8 to 9cm SL (without the tail) when fully grown.
