Bolivian Ram?

i just got my tank up and running and i bought a bolivian ram the guy said it was a male because it has black tips on the fins. but it has no color at all? he also said u thinks its about 8 months old, if u look at the pics of bolivian rams they have red, yellow and orange. i dont no how to take better pics, how do u guys get your pics to look so good?

My rams also does not have a black spot in the center of the body.
the guy also said it doesnt have color beacuse its small but its 8 months old?
i keep trying to take better pics but they always come out reddish?

They come out redish because of your gravel. I really can't tell anything about your ram with the picture you posted.

see thats what i want my fish to look like, thanks for the pic does some one have a pic of a female, do they even have color? mine is only white and gray. how lond so they take to get color im sure mine is a female now since it seems like all the other rams have color.

Your's sounds to me like a female - if you could try and get a better picture we could have a better look.

Male Rams have a crown at the start of the dorsal fin and its also really elongated and pointed at the end, the female has no crown and a shorted curved end to the dorsal fin
