I prefer to buy my wood from a shop.
When I select a piece of wood, I am a bit anal about it. Look at it at all angles to see how it would best fit in. Takes me ages to select even the smaller pieces.

My LFS has very bad bogwood.....i've looked through ebay, ges just not what i'm looking for

Hi Amy ,all pets at home stores stock all sizes of bogwood ,approx.£5 per bit

Went to p@h earlier and got a large piece for £5.49

Not that i like buying from their tanks,but have a look around they have bogwood with anubias attached.it did have a good scrubbed and found 2 free tiny ramhorn snails on it
