hi all,

i have a 260 ltr juwel vision tank set up with loads of bogwood, and plants but no rock.

is this such a bad thing as my local aquatics shop told me that would be ok, but after reading here im a little concerned. I have spent over 150 pounds on bogwood, and plants on bogwood and i really cannot afford to loose all that cash

thanks

well, i have a cichlid tank with "bogwood" in it with no problems.....is it the ph that your refering to?? i think it might depend on the ciclid you are keeping in there,

all my ph levels are fine, they have not changed, i soaked the wood for a good 3/4 days before it was put in, i just dont have any space for rock now. after spending all that money i dont want to have to take some out to put rocks in if i can get away with it.

at the moment i have

3 x Blue Dolphin - Haplochromis moori
4 x Rusty Cichlid - Iodotropheus sprengerae
3 x Yellow Labidochromis - Yellow Lab Labidochromis caeruleus

im not sure how many more i can fit in my tank, but i also need some algea eaters and corys or similar
