Bog Wood?

I would really like to find some wood to put in my tank, not nesesarely bog wood but something for my catfish and plec to hang out on. Please help me with whatever information you got. Thnak you.

If you live close to a lake or river you could go looking for drift wood. Thats how I got mine! Make sure you treat it with a 1 part bleach to 20 part water solution, then pour some boiling water on it. Let the peice of wood sit in a clean bucket with a ornament on top or something to hold it down (must be clean as you went through all that work to clean it already). The wood will take about two weeks to have finally absorb enough water to sink, and also have the tannins out.

I just took the wood right from the lake, washed it off, and put it in the tank. However my poor Red Devil paid for my ignorance, and he now has a nematode infection, which will appear cured, but then comes back.
