Bog wood in 40G planted

Hi there, I'm redesigning my tank and have a large piece of bogwood which i would like to use when my new plants arrive next week. Its over a foot long and has previously been in a tank with java moss growing on it.

I really dont want algae from the other tank spreading when i move the bog wood in so i've poured boiling water over it a few times and im going to give it a scrub.

Does anyone know of any other decent cleaning techniques for large items like this. Pressure washing maybe? I'm aware of the tanin leaching.

Pressure washed now and it removed a huge amount of debris i couldnt have removed from hand, i reccomend it.
