Can i keep a group of just male boesemani rainbow fish

Yes, you can.

so will there be any fighting. also will they be ok with tiger barbs

There may well be squabbling between them yes, but it's unlikely to be any worse than if there were females present to fight over. Just be careful and don't put any females in as, unless they outnumber the males, they could be the target of far too much attention.

As to whether they'll be okay with tiger barbs...well, in general, nothing is safe from tigers, if they get in the mood

They will need a good size 4-footer minimum, ideally >240l IMO, they are active fish.

yeah i guess. there's a chance of them being harassed by tigers. also they need a 4-footer how big do they get i heard 12 but mainly reach 9 ish cm

I don't think the problem is the size they get but instead how active they are.

yup.  active fish need bigger tanks (or at least longer).  Zebra danios are another fish I recommend at least 4 feet for, even they are smaller than the rainbows.

Did you mean < 240l?

If so, plus 1 to all of you! I love these fish. :D

No, he meant >240l = greater than 240l.

I doubt it. >240l means greater than 240l. Yours, < 240l, means less than 240l :p
Beaten again. Grrr.

Really?

The way I was taught was, the crocodile ( < / > ) always wants to eat the bigger number.
Hmmm, tis a mystery.

Exactly.

X > 240l means x is bigger.

So, the tank ("X") should be > 240L means the tank should be greater than 240L.

Maybe its the sun affecting your brain.
