Bn & Ram Compatibility

4 or 5 would be too many. a pair with the bn's in roughly a 20 to 25 gallon is about right. There shouldn't be any aggression issues and the only prob I see is the plecs eating the ram eggs if you do get a breeding pair, but this may be a good thing if you really have no plans for a large amount of fry :good:

Thanks, I wouldn't mind some fry but if I was keeping them I'd rather swap out one of the Rams to broaden the gene pool first, however I don't know if pair pine on being split up - any views??
 
I'm sure rams do pine, though not for one particular mate, but just to be a pair again
