Bn Plec Is Eating My Plant!

hey guys

ive never had a problem with me bn eating plants

but as soon as i got my amazon sword he started sucking on it

and now

the new leafs that grow are eaten by him and they have holes ....

am i not feeding enough? how can i stop this from happening

Do you have any bog/driftwood in the tank?

A plec will constantly rasp at the wood for fiber. He may be doing this to your plant.

If you don't, a small piece of wood will keep him occupied. Just be sure to boli and/or soak it before it goes in the tank.

What are you feeding him now?

yes i have wood in the tank

i feed him regular aglea pellets

and i sometimes through in vegies

i tryed adding peas to the tank and all the fish were crazy about them

the plec finaly left the plant alone
