got a quick picture today of one of my two Bluespotted Sunfish (E. gloriosus). i set out to collect two of these guys back on 11/28/09 and picked out my favorite 2 of the 5 i caught. here's one of them:

when they finally settle in and colour up, this is how they'll look:

loving the 2nd pic, once the chap in the tank settles hes going to be stunning. what kinds of fish can you keep these guys with?

well they're supposed to be peaceful fish, so I have them with my rainbowfish and angelfish and nobody is bothering them so far.

i honestly dont know. though I think severums are pretty, that's all i know about them. i have a vague idea of them getting big and being semi-aggressive? these sunfish seem to be very easy going and I would be worried about the severum bullying the sunfish...yet again, I know nothing about severums!

according to fishbase a typical adult size is 2.5", and the maximum size is 3.7"...

They will eat smaller fish, but other than that they are peaceful. They are temperate water fish though, but you caught them in south Florida so they should be ok at tropical temperatures.
