I need some advice on a bullying problem.

I have a 30 litre, 4 foot tank with about 60kg of ocean rock in it & about 30 malawis. Everything has been fine for a year in there but recently 2 of my blue zebras have taken to bullying one of my other blue zebras. They chase him round the tank constantly until he ends up at the top of the tank, wedged behind the heater lead. I've tried removing & rearranging the rocks, changing feeding times, adding more rocks, adding silk plants but the bullying never stops.

Any ideas what I can do or do I have to remove the victim to a new tank?

Surely your 4ft tank is more than 30L? More like 230L? :fun:

Sometimes these things happen. They are probably now all reaching breeding age and are chasing one of the extra males. It is not a good idea to have more than 1 male of the same species in a tank.
You have already tried to rearrange the rocks. So it is perhaps best to take the persicuted fish out.

+1

Move the 'victim' or the others that are doing the bullying and rethink the sex ratio i.e 1 male:2 females :good:
