yeah my dog found a blue tongue lizard in my backyard so i moved it and took photos of it.
this is the blue tongue

this is were i released him

most of the american and united kingdom forum members may not have seen this lizard before
well we learn somthing new everyday

i was thinking of getting one at one stage but i got an eastern long necked turtle instead

he may look feirce, but really he is a big softy
i loved him until i had to give him away to a wildlife park
i still miss him and i visit him occasionally
best animal i ever kept.

Its a blue tongue skink, are they native in your area then or do you think it could have been someones pet that they lost?

their native
australian law says you cant take them from the wild, you have to buy them of a licenced breeder or tradesman
which sucks because theres so many of them around here
the one my dog found was only small compared to ones ive seen, about the size of my shoe (size 11 aus)
they get bigger
