Blue Rams

So, today I bought two Blue Rams - what I believe to be a female and male but if you coudl confirm that then it would be great.

The smallest of the two (the male?) has already started chasing/nipping the larger of the two a little, but this is normal from what I have heard - nothing aggresive though.

They have both started demolishing my Elodea and Egeria Densas, do let's see how long they last.

I thought Rams were meant to be shy too, but mine are quite the opposite.

A few questions too:

how long does it normally take them to spawn?

Im 90% sure they are both males very nice males though.

They will likely attack each other if they are left together, so i'd suggest taking one back.

The way(s) to tell males and females apart, are that females have pinkish colouring around the stomach area. The male has a longer front ray on its dorsal fin.

Haha, I wouldn't actually cry.

I'm just really not sure at the moment about sexing. I'm not good at sexing fish...

Looks like 2 males from the pics but will look again at more pics, does 1 of them have a pink belly?
