Blue Rams Eggs

hi,

I am new to this forum and I would like to say Hi to the other members here.

I have a pair of breeding blue rams in a 10 gallon tank. They spawned about 2 days ago and this is their second spawning. In the first spawn, the eggs disappeared after a couple of days. I am hoping to get some fry from this spawn.

I have a couple of questions:

• What colour are the eggs suppose to be if they are fertile?
• And what percentage of the eggs laid will actually be fertile?

My rams have spawned twice in a week and a half, both times i think they have eaten them as the second batch had disappeared last night about 2 days after being layed!!
I think cichlids do this for the first few times, as if they are praciticing.

Not sure what colour they should though or how many will hatch.
