Blue Paradise and Gold Gourami

I've kept 2 blue paradise fish and 2 gold gouramis. Yesterday I put them in a 30 gallon so I could do some maintenance on my 55. I come back to see that a blue paradise had made a bubblenest. He is flaring up at my female gold and the female spreads her fins as well and they swim side by side. I am in love with my blue paradise male because when he flares he gets so deeply colored and puffy. First time I have ever seen this. He gets dark bluish gray marbled colored. Really dark and his orange turns almost red. It is so awesome. If it is possible for these 2 to make little ones I may have some blue paradise and gold mix here really soon.

Sorry but you arent going to get any babys,Paradise fish arent gouramis so it is unlikley that you would get them to spawn. Is the other paradise fish a female? if so the male paradise fish is probably trying to get the female paradise fish to chk out the nest and trying to warn the gourami away but for some reason gourami isnt taking the hint.
