I was feeding my fish today, and noticed a clear blue like sphere laying at the bottom of my aquarium. I have no idea what it could be, and decided not to remove it until I am sure it isn't a fish egg. I have algae eaters, mollys, albino cory catfish, and ghost shrimp. Can someone help me and tell me what it could be.

Well, its not an egg to big and I'm not aware of any fish or shrimp that has blue eggs. Don't have a clue as to what it might be.

It's not an egg so I suggest you take it out and investigate it.

Its probably just a bit of your substrate thats an odd shape!

No idea what that could be! It sort of looks like a bit of felt or something. Have you taken it out yet?

I can't help I'm afraid, I just lost my eyesight by looking at your gravel :)

but seriously.....it's either a piece of your gravel or some sort of contaminat (belly button fluff?) so just take it out.

I took it out, and it was slimy..(gross). I have a 50 gallon tank, and have had it for 2yrs, and this was the first time I have seen something like this. I don't like the gravel either, but my 14 yr old daughter insisted on it..I gave in..lol
Thank you all for all the responds...greatly appreciate it.
