Blue LED night kits???

We put an order in for some yesterday!

This guy makes them to order and seems very good value:
At least one other member of this forum has already bought some and received them, so we know he's legit.

Here's the link...

I got some on ebay, £15 on a 'buy it now' thing. For a 4' tank there's 6 LEDs and the power supply is adjustable, so you can dim/brighten to suit your tank/fish.

I like 'em, but that's just my opinion.

You can check them out here.

they certainly don't seem to mind them.... the plecs come out and play once the main lights are off, and the neons start chasing the mollies in and out the shadows, and I can see them all! Which is nice! Certainly no bad effects.

I have them as well on on of my 75s I put them on every night and dim them a little bit each night then I start over when they are dimmed all the way, my mota seems to really like them as it is usually at night that he spends alot of time out of his cave.

i leave them on all the time - I'm too tight/lazy to buy another timer. You can only see them after the main lights switch off (did get a timer for them).

Nothing to do with fish, but they do throw a beautiful dappled water pattern out into the room, very dim and discrete, but it's lovely to sit there in the dark, with the room and the tank lights off apart from the moonlights, and watch the water patterns in the room, and the fish playing in the tank.... or maybe I'm just weird!

I have a LED light in my tank like that. The only difference is, mine is submersible and costs more.
