Blue Gouramis

Need help figuring out if I have a male and female. I think I do but want to make sure and get another female if so. The left I think is female and the right is male. Someone please help me and thank you.

assuming the fish are 3 inches or bigger,
fish on left looks female.
fish on right looks like a young male but it's not a good quality one, the body shape is not good.

Thank you for the reply. Explain the body shape quality. I have done a lot of research but, I have just started keep Gouramis and still have a lot to learn

And yes both fish are around 2.5 to 3 inches in pic.

The female has a nice body shape. Starting at her mouth and going across the top of her body and back to the tail, it is a nice smooth even curve.

The male has a dip in the head near the eyes. And another slight inward curve on the back between the head and the dorsal (top) fin.

Gourami's are sexed by the shape of the dorsal fin males always have pointed dorsal fins and longer anal fins. I think both of these are females. By the shape of the anal fin on the right hand fish it could be a young male
