I bought 3 Gold Gouramies and 3 Blue Gouramies today (both trichogaster trichopterus), but now i'm starting to think if gold and blue stick together or maybe on contrary - fight too much? What do you think about their compatibility?
They are too small (about 2-3 cm) to tell about their sex.

I have 500 L tank with 15 tiger barbs and 7 clown loaches.

And although peolple say that t.barbs are very agressive, mine never fight with each other not to mention my clowns. They school tohether with clowns so nicely!

All gouramis are territorial, and trichogaster is one of the most agressive ones. You should count on at least 35 litres/fish so they can each establish a territory. Your tank is big enough, but make sure you also have hiding places (rocks, caves etc.) and that the tanks is heavily planted. oh, and gouramis also like floating plants

Edit: these gouraims should be able to handle your barbs!

I agree with the above. It doesn't matter what varieties the fish are at all BTW. They should be fine in that size tank and tiger barbs are not aggressive if they are in a large enough group.

The only worry would be if you have more than one male as, even in a large group in a large tank, males may fight to the death. Can you post pictures of them? Just how small are they that they are not possible to sex? If you could pick out the males early on and replace them with females, you'd be far less likely to encounter problems in future (not just between males, but as the result of breeding as well).
