Blue Gourami

can anyone tell me why my blue gourami is like litelry sparkling. I know its not velvet or ich as ive already had those before, and its a male and he is 6 years old. is he in spawning colors o and im now for just in cause treating for ich but at half a dose.

What colour is the sparkling on the fish.
Any signs of flicking and rubbing or laboured breathing.
Any excess mucas or slime on the body or gills of the fish.

The sparkling is like if someone put like purple/gold sparkles on him.
And no to the rest.

Don't think there anything wrong then.
If it was velvet the would look like they have been sprinkled in gold dust.

Just keep an eye on the fish there dosn't seem to be anything wrong.
