Have a 240l (planted/wood/hiding places etc) basically just wondering if I were to add a Gold/Blue Ram male to it, where there is already an apisto cacatuoides male, would they be alright in there together or would they be aggressive toward each other?

Thanks.

Probably, depending on the bottom area and all current stock, but I recommend you add 2-3 Apisto cacatuoides females instead.

Haven't looked online as I really like to pick out my own fish, LFS can't get females only a few males, and local clubs??

Yes, if you contact your local fishkeepers' club, they should be able to ask their members if anyone breeds cacatuoides (which is quite likely). Which country are you in?

Also, there is a resource online for Apistogramma, of the same sort as this one, which I'm probably not allowed to link to, where people do advertise home bred Apistos.. I suggest you try searching for it.. theme is black background and gold font, just so you know when find it ;) If you're in UK, another place to try is aquarist-classifieds

Email FBAS, they will put you into contact with the local club.. it might even have not had its annual auction yet, those are well worth going to, in my experience.
